Nata at a glance
Nata is a village in the Central District of Botswana, situated along the A3 highway ca. 190km north-west of Francistown (ca. 180km from PG Matante International Airport, Francistown), ca. 300km south of the Kazungula (Botswana/ Zambia border) and ca. 300km east of Maun. Nata may be considered as a crucial stop-over point, the gateway to popular tourist destinations such as Kasane, Chobe National Park, Moremi Game Reserve and the world-renowned Okavango Delta. In addition to being a popular transit village, to some it is a destination in itself, a great central base to visit the Nata Bird Sanctuary, Kubu Island, Makgadikgadi National Park, Nxai Pan National Park and Baine's Baobabs - as well as to enjoy all the unique activities the region has to offer.
