Oodi at a glance
Oodi is a rapidly-developing peri-urban village located in the Kgatleng District, on the north-east edge of the capital city, Gaborone, ca. 25 kilometers drive from the city centre. Oodi is popular due to its close proximity to the capital city and its relatively easy accessibility, for the most part via the main A1 highway. The village comprises of an assortment of low to high cost residential properties, small to large scale farming lands, local shops, religious centres, health facilities such as the Oodi Clinic as well as educational facilities such as the Oodi College of Applied Arts and Technology. The village benefits from the presence of shops, schools, business centres and amenities in the neighbouring upmarket suburb of Phakalane - just a 7km drive to the Acacia Mall shopping centre which offers a variety of local and international retailers, banking services and restaurants.
